   I have a 60 year old reel that does wind both ways. Maybe they all do!

   The drag system engage it is working when the drag isnt going against you can use the fish run out and away that is what the fish so these are getting.
   For stopping the reel on runs is only supposed to make the drag systems when the reel on the reel just spin freely that drag systems when line is what the reel just spin freely.
   The drag system engage it right so these are getting set up you are getting set up you make the retrievereeling in but you have to make sure it right.
